Microwave, oven, and reheat-safe takeout pails

Oyster pails and Chinese takeout containers were engineered for reheat as much as transport. Standard uncoated or clay-coated paperboard pails are microwave-safe when the wire handle is removed first (metal handles are not microwave-safe). If your customers reheat directly in the pail, print a small reheat panel on the side (“Remove wire handle before microwaving.

Microwave 60-90 seconds.”) so the instruction stays with the food. For wire-handle-free folded builds, the whole container is microwave-safe out of the box.
